About TJ
TJ McWain is a South Jersey entrepreneur and the founder of Check My Transcript, a proofreading service built for court reporters. He reviews deposition and hearing transcripts line by line for the details that matter in a legal record: speaker labels, Q-and-A flow, exhibit markings, punctuation and consistency. Reporters send a transcript and get back corrections they can act on right away.
Outside the transcript work, TJ is a longtime coin collector who turned the hobby into a business. He hosts live shows on Whatnot under @_tjmackwayne_, where he sells world coins, paper currency, silver and graded slabs to collectors across the country.
He also builds his own automation. TJ uses AI and workflow tools to run both businesses more efficiently, from transcript review pipelines to inventory and invoicing systems.
